This crossword, entitled "Financial Downturn", was the first meta I ever constructed. The meta prompt was "The answer to the meta is something that would surely have felt the bern had history gone differently". 38 across was clued as "Fiscal measure that always goes down well with shareholders" (the word "down", repeating a word from the title, was a clue). Note, too, CEOS at the top, and "The REST of us" at the bottom.
Crosswords
Check out my regular meta crossword feed, MOAT (Metas On A Tuesday) here. Can you storm the castle by getting across the MOAT? These metas range from relatively easy to more challenging, depending on how many Australianisms I put in them! Puzzles are posted in a new thread every Tuesday, with nudges appearing on Saturdays, and the solution coming out on Mondays. (Puzzles are hosted on Crosshare.)
The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands
Guess what? There's a new Meta Pack out! After releasing a Marching Band meta as a MEOW, a few solvers commented that they wanted more. Well, more is what you now have! For just US$5 you can gain access to 7 Marching Band metas. If you thought Marching Bands were hard enough on their own, well now there's a meta mystery to solve in each one. And, once again, there's a mega-meta! The pack comes with JPZ and PDF files; and there are also nudges available. Meta submissions this time will be handled by password-restricted PDF files!
